dennis, that backside tailslide photo is perfect.

i added a hood to my skopar and it felt (and looked) much more balanced while mounted on my M2. might serve the same purpose on your M7.

I sold a 50/2.5 Color Skopar. I do not like changing lenses. I like the 35/2.5, so I sold the 50/2.5!

Backside tailslide is one of the nicest looking trick when properly done, great photo ! I have quite the same problem of "balance" with my Bessa R2M but it's slightly better with the hood -and better looking too.

My latest taken with 35mm f2.5 Color Skopar on a Bessa R2.

I shot this lens almost exclusively on an R and R3a. I'm regretting how much HP5 I shot with the both of them, though (I much prefer it on 120). The last of the 3 was on Neopan 400, one of my favorites for people.

Hello All - I'm new to the forums and soon to be new to the 35mm f/2.5. My copy should arrive on Tuesday afternoon and after looking through this thread I can't wait to start using it! There is an incredibly talented pool of photographers in this thread and I lost count of new people and contacts I started following on Tumblr/flickr because of it.

I have stuck to my Bessa R/Jupiter 8 combo almost exclusively when shooting film this past summer and I am really falling in love with the rangefinder approach to shooting. I can't wait to see where it goes when I finally use some nice glass!

Update: my "Excellent" copy of this lens showed up this afternoon from KEH and it is spotless. There is a bit of wear on the lens cap (that I will lose anyway) but other than that, it is perfect. I took it out for a joy walk earlier tonight and shot a roll and a half of Tri-X. It's light weight, short focus throw, and general smooth operation was a real pleasure to use. I am already digging this BessaR/35mm combo and will post some photos when I develop and scan another batch of film.
