Hard to say, they seem a little thin on the ground right now. Likely $350 or so if you can find one. Mine was one of the last new black ones for sale at Photo Village in NY in 2011, or so I heard.

Had to look for 4 months before finding a chrome copy (they take better pictures than black) and paid $350 but was willing to spend $400

Scanned one of my two rolls last night. A wonderful lens!

Lovely photos in this thread. Needless to say a LN 50/2.5 Skopar just showed up on KEH for under $300 and should be arriving soon

I hold most everyone here ( Erik, Steve and the Flickr site) fully responsible for the impulsive purchase of a 50/2.5 from KEH which I received yesterday, even though I just got the Nokton 40/1.4 last week. Needless to say, thank you
I love the feel and size of this lens. It's focus is much smoother and a shorter throw than my Canon 50/1.4, which I'll probably be putting in the classifieds soon. I hope to post some pics soon.

Erik, your prints/scans/whatever are great, all av them! The dark greyscale/tonality together with the shadows and bright highlights are simply stunning. Some really great shots as well.
Would you mind sharing how you work with Tmax400?
I have recently came back to film after almost 10 years with digital and sort of decided to stick to Tmax400.
I´m still in learning with this film but the dark greys in your images are kind of what I´m looking for.
Sorry for leaving the subject (50/2,5 Color Skopar) here...

This film is excellent for printing and scanning.
Develop and scan the film yourself.
Erik.
