Jon, I'm in agreement with Helen (as usual), this is really nice! Is this Neopan 1600 (what ISO rating), is it done with a filter?

This is Neopan 1600 @ ISO 1600. No filter. Its was dusk, so this is how the light was. I switched from a 28/2.8 to the Nokton 35/1.2 so I could get the shot in the rapidly diminishing light.
 
compared to my 50/2 and 90/2.8, the 35/1.2 can sometimes be soft, but when I shoot with it for what it is, I like the way it renders:

man, I really like that second shot. so peaceful.

i'm never sure what to make of this lens. just when i think it is not giving me what i want, i'll get images that fit the mood perfectly.
