Looking at this THREAD....I'm really DIGG'IN this Lens

I have a Beautiful 35 pre asph /tiny & a Jewel
but this Aspherical Glass blows my Mind

its just the size that me THINK twice.....:bang:
 
thanks for all the posts, especially the pics with the 35/1.2 wide open, it really shows its signature........I recently picked up the CV 35/1.4, and am very happy with it, but these 2 lenses, despite similar f values, appear to be different animals........
 
As much as some people complain about how big and heavy this lens is, how much it blocks a VF - it seems to deliver superb results every time for people that actually use it. Not something that can be said about many other lenses.....
 
Great pics everyone. I'am wondering if any of you use this lens on bessa R2 (or R3 with the 40mm frame lines) cameras? How easy is it to focus? I'am kind of leaning towards getting such a combo but have been a little reluctant. I had a hard time focusing a Jupiter 8 at f/2 accurately on a bessa R body.
