Voigtlander M 35/1.2 Nokton photos...

Simon - I really like the fourth image. Very atmospheric. It reminds me of those old ww2 shots of searchlights over London St Paul's cathedral.

I really like the rendering of this lens - Gas attack coming on....

All the great photos on this thread inspired me to pull the trigger and order on of these lenses. It just arrived from CameraQuest, packed with a free copy of the LA Times ;). I know which lens I'm using this weekend.

thank you very much, guys. winter is a dark season here, the nokton is not leaving my Ms at the moment. and I even got to shoot a little these last few days. =) I'm going to post some more soon.

So many great images!

I don't have any 35mm right now (I had a Summicron, a Nokton 1.4 and a Skopar - sold them all). I think this little-big gem will be my next lens.

Generally, Im not a speed freak. I usually stay parked between 5.6 and 11 unless it's night or dusk. Anyway, I was loaned a 55mm FL 1.2 for my Canon and am having a blast with the thing at night wandering the city.

As much as my Nokton 1.4 has served me well as my lowlight lens, I do have to say I am very tempted to trade up for the 1.2.

I wonder could you expound on this statement? Thanks.
Both lenses are very good, however, the 35/1.2 has swirl and a 'look' while the 50/1.1 just has a very boring, highly clinical look like most other CV glass that is technically great but boring.

I shot 3 rolls this past weekend and seeing my first colour results I have to say
I'm so glad I bought this lens.
