the nokton 35mm f1.2 is my fourth 35mm lens and (never say never) i think i can stop thinking about changing hardware at this focal length. why?
  • i had it modified (stiff focus issue on m8 on earlier lenses) and 6-bit coded in the netherlands for around €100+. very professional, works like a charm on the m8
  • it handles very well (focus/aperture) and is, i find, very balanced in the hand on the m8
  • so far, the lens is a strong all-round performer in low and bright light, color and b/w, attractive OOF wider open and very sharp when needed
  • the wide range of photos you all have posted in this thread seem to confirm my choice
thanks

greetings from hamburg

Michael, I was wondering what kind of film you're using? I'm digging those saturated tones although it makes me wonder if you're done with b/w for now? :)

Hello Renzsu........I have been using fuji pro 100 film a lot recently....I still use black and white (Tri-X) for my work/projects (more serious stuff)...if I am just out and about, I will use xp2 or this fuji 100.....
The stuff on my Flickr from India/Pakistan/Nepal is just a small percentage of my work in black in white...To be honest, I have just a very small percentage of my "work" available online...cheers, michael
