M9 - Ascent into the Green by Archiver, on Flickr

After buying the Zeiss Distagon 35, I've hardly used the Nokton because of its glow and bokeh, but I've been looking through old images and it's not such a bad lens, after all. It's sharp when stopped down, and the bokeh has beautiful soap-bubble highlights that aren't over the top. Vintage character vs Zeiss modern clarity, as it were.

The Nokton seems decent on the SL2-S as well, but I need to do a lot more testing and comparisons with the M9.
