Voigtlander Nokton M 50/1.5 Photos

Earlier today; at SF Pride Parade, new M-Nokton 50/1.5 on M3, Rollei Retro 100, Rodinal 1:50.

Just basic leveling and dust removal in post.

Roland.

I really like this one. Amazing stuff.

Great Photographs everyone! I can see why there is a lot of enthusiasm surrounding this lens.

. . . . . with that said, I would like to say that I am completely happy with my LTM copy of the Nokton 50/1.5 and I am very pleased with the results every time I use the lens.

So I am just about 100 percent positive that I will not be making a purchase of the Chrome version of the Nokton 50/1.5 M lens. I can make that statement with almost absolute certainty, I think.

Then there is the thought that salt and pepper looks very good when sitting together on the kitchen table, so a black 50 and a chrome 50 would probably look excellent as well.

Very nice! I've only been using my LTM version on the Canon EOS-M and loving it for both B&W and colour. But these photos make me think maybe I should stick it on my film M one of these days, too. I imagine it would look good on Neopan.

I'm very, very impressed with this lens so far. I'm still getting used to not having a focus tab and having the distance scale only in meters, but the image quality is faultless:

That's pretty cute too. I like this sort of mid distance for wide open images. The oof here is a bit loud in a way but does not take from the image in my opinion.
You guys are lucky to have such great models. Oh and the new lens too 😀
