Hi
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but..
I've just purchased a Voigtlander SC 28mm 3.5 lens in pretty good condition. I've used it on my Contax II and plan to use it on my Kievs.
I haven't heard too much about this lens. Has anyone used it, and if so, what are your opinions?
Thanks.

It's the same formula as the LTM version which is universally recognized as a wonderful lens. I had the Nikon version and really liked it. Only complaint I had was I wish it had a small focus tab like the LTM version.

I have the LTM version and like it. You bought the lens and used it on your Contax ll. Not meaning to be rude, but what do YOU think?

I love my LTM copy.

I've just used it, and the film hasn't been developed yet. That's why I'm asking.

Shelley - it's a lovely lens. Very sharp with good tonality using slow - medium speed film. I have the LTM version and use it on my Hexar RF or M3. I also had and used a Nikkor 28/2.8 AIS which was a great lens but I found the VC28/3.5 sharper and preferred the dof markings and focus over the Nikkor. The only major advantage of the Nikkor was that it focused down to 20cm vs 70cm for the VC.
Enjoy it.
Enjoy it.

Thanks, Ken!
And thanks to everyone for their opinions. Once I get some film developed, I'll post them here.
