Voigtlander Ultrawides on the digital M's

I love to use the Voigtlander ultrawide lenses on the M9 (and previously on the M8). I get very regular requests on how to properly use them on the digital M's, particularly on the M9 given the "red edge" issues it is prone to. I've put together the following blog post with a lot of "how-to" information that some of you here might find useful.

I've considered selling my 15mm heliar and 25mm biogon because of the corner issues. I know there's a workaround but I think I'd be happier in the long run with the leica 21mm. Just have to find the cash for it.

I think that the 25mm can be coded as the Leica 21mm f/2.8 Elmarit pre-ASPH and any issues will go away.

It definitely adds to the workflow to use CornerFix, but lets face it, there is a big difference between 15mm and 21mm in terms of FOV. If you like the 15mm FOV, then the 21mm won't be a real replacement.

Really awesome article. If I ever get my hands on an M9, I'll look at this, for sure.

As an aside, I have used some medium format capture systems, using capture one. There's an option to correct for 'lens cast'. It's basically the same thing.

Thanks. I believe the MF corrections also deal with the fact that most sensors are not uniform, and the larger they get the more apparent this is.
