I liked the shot, but missed focus a tad so decided the only way to go was to make a virtue out of necessity by messing with it in post to emphasize the same, and by giving it an vintage aspect.

I recently picked up a Lumix S5, primary for shooting video but also as a backup digital body for my Leica M and Contax G lenses. I'm still getting the hang of mirrorless (it's my first digital camera since purchasing a Nikon D800 for photojournalism work in 2012 and a Fuji X100S in 2017), so I went to the local botanical garden to shoot some practice video footage so that I'm prepared for an upcoming trip to Iceland. In the midst of shooting video, I took a couple of stills and liked these two.
