Rapid urbanization is not a tea party. Back-ends of so-called Chinese shop houses in the most outer city limits of Saigon, Vietnam. People don't
invest in good looks and windows since they expect that others will build the back-end of their houses a meter or so away. The value of these
houses has recently risen significantly since the authorities have announced the construction of a subway station not far from this location.
