W/NW Moon

Somewhere in rural southern Mississippi, in 1962, I mooned 167 cars of a passing RR train. While copious amounts of alcohol were involved, this was in pursuit of a record. The next morning, my friends told me that it was a freight train and I had merely mooned passing boxcars. |

Fortunately, no cameras were available.
 
Not a good idea to use long shutter speeds for moon pictures (usually). Rotation of the earth means you will get some subject movement blur. Clear night full moon: it's always bright sunshine on the moon so expose according to your ISO and bracket. Moon behind clouds: bracket.

Of course all bets are off depending on a million other factors. I once shot a full moon negative that I could sandwich with other negatives, putting the moon in multiple positions, depending on what else was in the photo. But that was cheating.
