My best cat pics were taken with my SLR....not sure why. But, here's one I took with my Bessa.

This is Peggy, I fed her some milk one day and she stayed. Been 8 years now.
Cats are natural con artists!
They con us humans into taking care of them, feeding them, keeping them safe and warm, giving them oodles of attention, loving them like family, giving them medical care, wow, they really have us, don't they?

Many very nice cat pics in this thread. Shot with a Dslr, but still a cat:

Yes, but now a "Digi-cat"...
Nice shot, BTW...

qu'est-ce que c'est?
Here's my cat in the garage, holding down my vehicle. Shot with Canon F-1 (old) with 55mm f/1.2 FD lens. Tmax 400, I think. The scan has some dust specks, but the lens is fairly sharp, with nice bokeh. The cat is top predator of our garage and back yard.

He/she is pretty. I like striped cats, they look wild and predatory. The mittens add a hint of domestication! LOL Of course, my cat (the fat orange one shown earlier) has stripes and he is too lazy to kill anything!

Yup, all she loves to do is eat and relax.

Mine does all that, plus bitching incessantly about the food bowl's emptiness.

You certainly have a large cat! The long hair may add to the illusion a little, but you can tell he's big.

A very wise looking grey stray!! The best ones are often stray, ours was, and is far too clever for his own good. I've had to put a child proof lock on the fridge!!! Seems to be cat proof so far, but I think he's working on a solution.

Big mistake!! she will arrive with her suitcase someday and stay, this what happened to us. Neighbour got dog as well, cat moved next door to our flat, been here ever since!!
He (Oskar) is the one on the right!!!
Can you blame him? I wouldn't want to live with a smelly, nasty, drooling, dumb dog either. At least the cat let the dog live. My grandpa's cat made a failed but still quite nasty attempt to kill his dog after he got the dog. The dog had to get stitches all over his face after the cat jumped on top of the dog's cage, reached in through the bars, and clawed the dog's face up. She was aiming for the eyes....I caught her doing it! This wasn't a tiny yap-dog. It was a German Shepherd mix, full grown and rather big. It remains frightened of cats many years later. The cat still hates him.

Chris must be German Shepherds, it was one that caused Oskar to leave home, after he left a wound needing four stitches on its nose. The dog is now terrified of cats!!
