Wow, you got him right as he was catching it!. My old fatcat used to kill birds all the time. I never understood how an overweight (22lb!) declawed cat managed to catch something that can fly!

Denzyl one of our cats regularly brings home baby rabbits, totally unharmed, fortunately our local childrens zoo takes them.

so far the count is six!!
Lady there says he is possibly doing them a favour, as they live a lot longer there, and are much loved by the kids!!
Worst ever was a live crow which he released in the house!! Took an hour to catch and left bird s**t everywhere.
Oskar has left a couple of dead mice under my bed AARRGH!!!
When I was a kid living on the farm, one of the cats used to crap in your slipper, not nice first thing in the morning!!!!
