Yes, they have teeth for hunting, and also their claws extend quite far. I haven't been able to capture an extended claw yet.

This beautiful kitty showed up last week near my apartment, looking skin and bones hungry. She was super friendly so the first day we saw her, I cooked her some grilled chicken (didn't have any cat food, my old cat died two yrs ago). She vacuumed up the meat instantly! I got her some cat food and she eventually followed us home and hasn't wanted to leave, so we've adopted her.

She's the most affectionate cat I have ever met. She's sitting on my lap purring as I type, and wants constant attention. She even curls up next to me at night and sleeps all night like that.
