Sacajawea burial place





At the same cemetery there were many beds, some complete with the entire frame and springs, buried along with the bodies. Am sure there is a reason, but I don't know what it is.
 
Strange about the beds... Also strange about Sacajawea's date of passing, some accounts saying 1812. Or could she have lived to age 96?

Information about her history is a bit murky. Murkier than television depictions, at any rate. This was on the Indian reservation, and, as far as they are concerned, this is accurate. I have no idea.
The locals have torn down all the signs which would lead you to the gravesite, so it’s a bit of an adventure, needing a pathfinder, which is ironic.
