Here's one from way back in 1964 when one of my hobbies was building a car that would best be described as a hot rod. The car on the right is mine, it's a 32 Ford roadster with a supercharged Chrysler hemi for power. The left car is a 32 Ford five window coupe and was built by a friend of mine, it's also powered by a Chrysler hemi. I sold the car in 1974 and recently learned it's in a car museum in the NE USA and has been kept as it was back then.

The cars were together as props for a photo shoot by a large department store. A few minutes earlier fashion models had themselves draped over the cars. Afterwards used tripod and self-timer for a selfie. The city in back is Calgary Alberta and the skyline has changed immensely.

Very nice 1955 Chevrolet. (Those aren't stock wheels, though.)

Of the 1955 - 1958 generation of Chevrolets, the 1955 has always been my favorite. The 1957 is the most popular, but I don't like it nearly as much as the '55.

Thanks for keeping these coming, Mike!

When I was a teenager, my big aspiration in life was to own a VW Bug. (My mother didn't want me to have one.)

Nevertheless, I'm finding that the sight of a Karmann Ghia these days sparks more nostalgic feelings.

1957 Caddy
And a more recent ('70s?) Caddy behind it -- Eldorado?

It's interesting to see how Cadillac has been trying to make itself out as a much hipper marque these days. I still wouldn't be caught dead in one (unless it's a hearse, I guess).
