@boojum - The image you posted caused me to investigate as it looks like the “Aerolithe” model that The Guild of Automotive Restorers out of Canada recreated several years ago. I wasn’t aware that the Aerolithe prototype with coachwork fabricated of magnesium was followed by four cars of the very similar design known as “Atlantics” crafted out of aluminum which is what this car formerly seen at the Mullin museum is. It seems that only 2 of the 4 built still exist. Speaking of Bugattis and other similar cars, did you happen to attend “The Shape of Speed” exhibit at the Portland Art Museum back in 2018? (For the record, I don’t really know much at all about Bugattis or any other cars built before the 1960s, but on occasion I do find them to be rather interesting, as was the case with the cars exhibited at the Portland Art Museum.)
