W/NW: Dogs

Ahhhhhh Maggie! SO sorry to hear of Tasha! Bless her heart--I know she was well loved. Dogs are fantastic creatures.

Best to you and the new pup--what's her name?

Thanks for letting us know and best to you...

Paul

Thank you, Paul.

I don't know what the pup's name is going to be yet!

She won't come to my house until the week of November 9th and then I'll have to get a sense of her personality before I name her.

Your new pup looks gorgeous Maggie!

My little guy 'Charlie', we've had him 1 year exactly this week. Full of mischief!

Taken with my Moskva-5 folding camera, Rollei APX 400 film, Kodak XTOL.

Thanks, Lynn! I've always preferred big dogs, (had shepherds, golden retriever, French spaniel, and Weimaraner) but my daughter's Boston terrier is a good size for a lap dog.

And I like my rokinon 12.

This is our daughter's dog... her name is "Sandy"...she's a rescue dog from a no-kill shelter in Ft. Collins, CO...she was originally from Arkansas. She was shot in her right rear leg while living in Arkansas and was taken to the shelter in Ft. Collins where it was amputated...she's doing so much better now...Our daughter lives in the Denver area with Sandy but is visiting us in So. California this weekend...she's had Sandy about 8 months and she's doing great rehabbing...she can do pretty much everything a four legged dog can do...she met Sandy while doing volunteer work at the shelter in Ft. Collins...she fell in love with her and did all she could to get her...they make a great team...

Bear

Little Bear. Looking innocent. She had just "borrowed" a bone from a nearby house. Little monster. She's a 3-year old Bichon.

Police dog

Police dog

This police dog was part of a training. Was doing a shoot from first person's pov. The dog was foaming at the mouth trying to get to me while receiving commands from a police officer. I was in a bite suit. When asked for a helmet, was told, "just don't fall down." Also was told that I'd feel just a pinch or two from the bites.
In reality, didn't fall down. The dog did chip the paint on the camera viewfinder. Was black and blue on my arm for a couple of weeks.
Cop was laughing so hard when I told him.
Good thing had the camera to protect my face and didn't drop it.
