Lovely effect through the gauze curtain.
So glad you are posting.
So glad you are making progress.
Everything does sound somewhat encouraging.
I expect you will be with us for years and years to come!
How long before you break the 10,000 barrier?

Paul, nice work. I hadn't seen those color shots until now. Very nice. How are you feeling?

thank you, guys. Rob, feeling right well. still a bit sore in the wounds as they heal - and still occasionally dizzy. my bride says it is the anesthesia. that makes sense, i guess, as i was sedated four times in a week ...

Nice photos Paul. The last one really stands out in my eyes. I just wish you never have the chance to take photos from this vantage point again

This view of a stay in the hospital from the patient's perspective is fascinating, particularly the photos with your feet in them. Thank you for sharing, Paul.

This is a fantastic image Paul- which really delivers some heebie jeebies.
I think you're defining "making hay while the sun is shining" is some twisted way.

thank you very much, gd.
you know, photos from other people are most welcome on this thread.
i have more surgery coming up, perhaps late next week, and will be out of pocket for a few days, the Father willing. so, we will need more shots in the meantime ...

I'm with the others - great series - although it would be better that you didn't have such an opportunity in the first place. But, when life gives you lemons, you're obviously a guy who knows how to make some excellent lemonade. Keep up the good work!

Inspiring work, Paul. We who call ourselves photographers should so document our lives.
