W/NW Interesting photos from seemingly boring scenery

Ozreth, remember it's the light you're photographing. Light can do interesting things in boring locations, as other photos posted above attest. Look at what the light is doing, everywhere.. how it reflects, forms shadows, highlights textures, creates negative space, models shapes (i.e. how it falls on objects to reveal their shape), creates silhouettes, has colour and mood...

I suppose I'll have to do some learning in regards to how to use the light to my advantage.

I'm definitely looking at all of these pictures and realizing that I have similar scenes around my house and on my street. Thanks for the inspiration all! Keep em comin if you have them 🙂
