W/NW : Motorcycles

First real ride on the Stone Corsa. Only about an hour long but felt great to be back on two wheels. It will definitely take some getting used to as the last bike I owned was in 2018 and it was a 358cc (and the last bike I rode was a Royal Enfield Classic 350). Closest bike to this one was my 1998 BMW R1100R which I sold about 17 years ago. So baby steps indeed!

BTW the shield on the AGV is one of those ‘transition’ type (darkens in sunlight). Ah modern technology!

I just better not drop it!

BTW I was corresponding with the sales fellow at the dealership and he told me that only three of those passenger seat cowls were sold in Canada and five in the US, and that it’s now sold out worldwide (there’s one available in Japan and that’s it). So I better take extra-special care of it!

That looks great, Vince,
Happy riding. I don't think we have that model in Australia. I'm glad you have chosen a light-coloured jacket and helmet to counter motorcycle "invisibility".

Many thanks John - yes I have a feeling that the Stone Corsa is a short-lived model, as the 2025 V7s have ride modes, a ride-by-wire throttle, USD forks (well the Sport model anyways) and a host of other features that the 2021-2024 V7s don’t. Plus I think the Stone Corsas were announced in late 2023, so this may in fact be a one-year only model. I chose it for that reason, among others.

The clothing - yes visibility precisely. I was tired of all the black black black in jackets, helmets etc. Couldn’t really embrace the fluorescent yellow/green route, so white and light grey will have to do. We’ll see how long they stay looking white and light grey!
