They're good fun to ride Godfrey. It looks like you got a rorty exhaust to maximize the V-twin sound too.

A Ducati to lust after ! High praise from a Moto-Guzzi LeMans owner me thinks ! Peter
Very nice, indeed. But you can mark me down as preferring a blue and silver with the Borrani wires. I'm torn between the purity of the original 75 900 and the shapeliness of its 20 litre Imola tank, (though you can fit one to a 78 if you prefer, and I probably would), versus the improved reliability of the 78 blue and silvers. Not that I ever owned either. I had an 83 MHR for years: basically, the last Ducati model faithful to the original SS before they moved to electric starters, and weakened the frames in the process. And I moved on to a 850 Le Mans myself later, which was brilliant in it own right. Having one of each in the garage is a nice position to be in.A Ducati to lust after ! I thought this well turned-out Honda CB750 four-powered outfit was very fetching, indeed, and grabbed a shot of it just before its race warm up with my Contax RF.
The outfit in the background belongs to a friend. It's a methanol fuelled Kawasaki H2750 Mach IV powered monster that's been very successful in national post classic championships.

From memory this Honda racer seen at Baskerville wearing its lovely period looking fairing and tank was powered by a parallel twin. It didn't look like a Black Bomber 450cc twin engine, so I think it was probably a production-based 125cc or 250cc twin.

Honda 550 Four spotted on a Hobart street. I always loved the curves on those exhaust headers fitted to the 400 and 550 Fours.
