I bought it when I lived in Panama' parts were a problem, but I drove it everywhere. Unfortunately, I had to sell it when I moved the USA.
 
I am really surprised that there are not more photos of Harleys on this thread. They approach the cult status (in the USA) that Leica's have here! I own two bikes and neither is a Harley which is offset by the three Harleys my sister and brother in law have.

I had a short ride on one many years ago, Larry. I loved it! Belonged to an old Italian engineer with a workshop not far from my home. Interesting shop that he had, there was also a NSU Ro80 stashed away in there, but he would sometimes use the little MV for the short commute from his home.

An acquaintance here in Hobart has a MV 750 Sport I have photographed a few times. I don't rate my chances of getting a ride on that, sadly. Here's a photo of it, just with an old iPhone unfortunately so the quality's a bit average, however the bike is anything but.
Sorry to hear about the Commando.

Never seen an MV out on the streets here in the States, only in Europe, though I am sure they are here in larger cities where there are more people who are either hipper, more serious, richer or some combination of those. I’ve never ridden one.
Thanks for the condolences on the Norton. Letting that go did hurt a bit. Beautiful, perfect bike, just starting to be time to cut back on things and it was tuned in a way that made it a bit too much for me at this point. Was too clean and too perfect, as well. All not lost as I have a low mileage Moto Guzzi V50 III which is more my current speed, which has been neglected the last 3-4 years or so, which I am in the process of making roadworthy again. Should be ready by the time the ice melts off here in 3 months, God willing.

I’ve been a Triumph and Ducati guy as an adult, growing up with Japanese dirt bikes. It’s a bit of a change but I’m really enjoying the thumper.

Welcome back, haven’t seen you here in a while. What’s the bike, I cannot tell from the photos. Almost looks like a KTM, not that many large thumpers out there.
Looks fun, though, how about a review?
 
Posted a week ago on this thread about the lack of Harleys and never owning one myself. That changed this week so I will post a photo of my new Road King.

Thank you and glad to be back. :)

You have good eyes. It's Husqvarna Svartpilen 701, which is heavily based on KTM Duke 690. It screams cyberpunk and very urban looking bike, but it's extremely agile and light (with my current setup, it's about 350 lb WET) and it's a lot of fun in twisties.

^^ That's a hairy-chested he-man's bike, Mike!" I rode a Sportster once and I remember it well. Not my style really, but the low-end torque was impressive.
 
Owned an ironhead Sportster for 8 years, ended up being 1400 cc and absolutely flew, BUT, holy crap that thing vibrated!!! Finally sold it and bought myself a new Moto-Guzzi Le Mans 2, which I still own. Was good to be young! Peter
