This looks really good. I haven't seen too many images from Arista/Foma 400 pushed, but you certainly got nice results here.

And also, it was taken with a Pentax lens so of course it looks good.
Many thanks! I always thought that Arista Premium 400 was rebranded Tri-X, so I shot it the same way when I planned to use Diafine as the developer. Technically, this exposure was not pushed; Diafine naturally gives a speed bump to many films, and I liked the look I got when exposing at 800. Some photographers use 1200 or even 1600 with Tri-X in Diafine, but I prefer 800. Alas, the camera and lens are long gone.

Actually, when I read your post, I was thinking of the current "Arista EDU 400" film which I believe is rebranded Foma 400. Apologies for the confusion. I believe at one time Freestyle did sell rebranded Tri-X under the Arista label; maybe that was Arista Premium 400?
