Dear chap. That's not "Nothing special" - it's Blackwood South Australia. 🙂 It is interesting how architecture (even the most ordinary stuff) and urban environments can tip one off if its style looks familiar. I did not recognize it precisely - my first guess was that this was taken in Canberra (a place I am familiar with) but in Australia never the less. But on Googling the location of the bakery advertising on the sign, it turned out to be 15 minutes from where I live in Adelaide in a place I have no special reason for recognizing specifically because I don't all that often visit there. As I say - architecture and streetscapes are very recognizable even if not obvious in any special way. (I feel quite chuffed at myself for picking this just from vague clues about the "look" of the street.)
The weird thing is I recall having this same kind of experience a couple of years ago on this forum for the same reason - a feeling of familiarity with the "look" of the place and it turned out back then, to be a road once more in........Coromandel Valley. Just a few kilometres from you present image. Again, a part of the road I seldom drive along visit or go to. Believe me that is weird because despite what I said above this streetscape is nothing special as to location except it has a feel of Australian suburban ordinariness.
