Jupiter-3 Plus on the M8. This is a good combination, I just leave it on this camera.

Two Jupiter-3's, the first from 1956- one of the last German Glass KMZ version 1s made,

At F1.5 and F4


and a the second is the Jupiter-3+, 2016. Probably the first one sold in the US, SN 200.

Also at F1.5 and F4,



Same UV filter used for both images, tripod mounted.

And- My 1934 5cm F1.5 Sonnar, converted to LTM using a J-3 mount. This is my favorite Sonnar.

Brian, were all of these taken at about the same time? Color rendtion of the 1956 and 1934 lenses are similar, while the J3+ is pretty different.

Yes- set on a tripod, take three pictures, swap lenses. The KMZ and Sonnar- German glass. The Bloom on the Sonnar is almost as good as a single coated optic. The KMZ is single coated on all surfaces. The J3+, multicoated optics.
