Jibacoa Cuba: Ivana, a student at the University of Havana, is the daughter of my girlfriend. She is a truly great kid. Her family is a real ethnic rainbow. Her biological father was from the Czech Republic and her mother is a mix of German / Jamaican / Spanish / African.

Cuba has disastrous hard light most of the time. But when I spied a covered area with light spilled in from a clothes line of white sheets, I seized on the opportunity to try out my new Fuji X-Pro. I just told Ivana where to put her feet and hands, backed up against the sheets and let her cut loose.
