Another long-standing thread with many superb images. Good to see it going on and on, tho' I only recently came to it.
Here in Malaysia where I'm now touring, in most towns I happen to be visiting it often as not rains at either three pm on the dot, or at 4 pm at higher altitudes. You can set your watch by this. Yesterday I was caught on a walk from the local bus terminal to my hotel,. Into two plastic bags went my Fuji XE2 kit (18 and 18-55 lenses) and I then raced to take refuge in a fruit and veg market which alas, was mostly closed as it was late and the vendors had all packed up and gone home, so the possibilities for good photography were less than great. I did buy mangoes and rambutans and a lovely Chinese lady with a huge umbrella then kindly walked me to the local shopping mall where I had a wonderful strong coffee and waited for the deluge to end. I got quite wet and my walking shoes are still wet, but today I'll be out and about again, adding to my collection of good before the rain images. Such is life as it is for me.
I'll try to capture a few rain images if (or rather when) the daily downpour starts, and post one or two here.
Much much inspiration to be had here from all your gorgeous photos. Many thanks to you all who have posted!!
