I am enjoying looking at these. I wish I could comment on them all...
Everyone please be careful around the railroads. They make great photo ops but can be very dangerous even for those of us who work on them.
Thank you,
Pete

Hey Pete!
Nice photo of the freight.
Where were you standing when you took that one??!!
I was thinking about asking you to post some additional locomotive photos--like the AC4400 and some of the newer GEs--but since you work at night...
I'd love to see some motive power shots form your perspective--right at the track..
Which RR and what do you do?
Thanks!
Paul

Hi Paul,
I was not standing... I was riding in the locomotive. One of those FP-40s. I work in the signal department for Amtrak. I sometimes get to photograph from protected work areas but the other times I photograph from public areas clear of the tracks. I am trying to pick from my old film archive for the RFF until I can get some good photos from my M9...

Great Pete!!
Nice pic of a "Toaster"--read somewhere they had problems during the recent snow..
And I think a cab ride would be heaven...
That looks like the old PRR line thru NJ or NY...
Enjoy the M9!!

Paul, you call them 'Toasters', we call them 'Meatballs' as in Swedish...
Yes it was on the Bush river bridge.
Dotur, I am enjoying all your pics. Railroading is railroading everywhere in the world.

Richard, I can hear the clicking of the Solari board...
Chris, those cars are kinda short. Is that an airport tram?
Paul, Thank you again and yes it is 30th Street Station, I have spent many hours there and know all the hidden rooms and tunnels and secrets...
Here is one from your neck of the woods and finally an M9 pic...
