W/NW: Trains and Train Stations

The Lima locomotive works was US, correct?
And those look like US couplers on the cars, and that one picture looks like the cylinders from a Shay--and I really could be wrong.
But those Lima engines are gorgeous! I'd lover to see them in person.

I like these pictures very much.

Can I assume this marvelous place is on the East coast of the UK??

Do you get special dispensation to wander such a place?

It's on the west coast of the US (Felton, Ca.. which is about an hour south of San Francisco)

I know most of the people who work there now, so I can go where ever. There is a public area, which is a model of an old West lumber town (more a tourist area than anything). They provide rides on the narrow gauge from Felton down to the ocean & boardwalk in Santa Cruz, Ca.

If you ever find yourself in this area, please feel free to send me email.. would be happy to accompany you for a shoot here

Fascinating place. I would have thought by the look of the trains it may have been a place called Felton on the East coast of the UK.

California is closer!

It would be a nice trip for sure.

Mark--excellent photo!
I wonder what's on her mind--she looks deep in thought.
Thanks again for posting...
