D700 + 55/2.8 @f/11. meh shot while rendering reds and other colors imo correctly.

exif says 55mm; but lens is 28mm used to make 3-image stitched pano. D700 allows custom manual lens settings, user just
has to remember to change setting after switching lenses to reflect in exif.

The lens shows an apparent issue upper-left near the pole transformer, soft focus but sharp focus elsewhere closer and further. Maybe field curvature or something else, not sure (sensor is clean). Did same thing at f/8 and f/11, first time using/testing this lens outside.

bought a season pass to this StL Nat'l museum of transportation, since it's good a learning ground to shoot w/few distractions.
there's an indoors one in Denver too but never been. this place in STL in Kirkwood was once a depot, while they encourage
photography as a museum now.

Durango, Colo ~1999. Nikon N50 w/the plastic kit lens 35-80.
scanned with Valoi easy35, + Z6 +105/2.8 MC S macro. Kodak Gold 200.

24mpx Z6 is enough to make 20x30-inch print; I think bigger with good lens. tripod saved it.

Before this new scan rig, it was challenge to get decent 12x16" print with older scanners/rigs and endless p/p, sharpening, etc.
