Verrry nice, Indeed !
How do you do it ? Do you keep the camera in your pocket, then pull it out, pull the lens, focus, set aperture and speed, raise it to your eyes and shoot ? All that would take a while and perhaps lose the "decisive moment" and the candid quality of the shot.
Also, BTW, what developer did you use ?

Hi!

Developer was rodinal 1-50 Trix 400

Ciao! Mauro

Nice, Mauro. I especially like the first three. I also have a Summitar on my IIIf RD. Now you got me thinking about pulling it out again!

Mauro, those are wonderful, real, people pictures! I would guess your Barnack's shutter was preset, the collapsible deployed, prefocused and f/set before the camera came up to your eye?? Right? Wrong? Details are interesting!

My take, after using all kinds of cameras, is there is no better tool than a preset, palm-of-the-hand Barnack+collapsible for invisible 'passage', then nailing A decisive moment. Fast second and third shots aren't the LTM's strong point, but what good is a giant, bulky (wink) M, or S, or whatever after the 'moment' has passed.

Oscar's camera hasn't been around forever for no good reason!!!

Yes, sure, preset is foundamental, all must be prepared before

I have to confess that for me take a picture through the small viewfinder of Barnack camera is very difficult, bringing glass eyes (but very fascinating)

More simple if I can use VIOOH , universal finder, mounted :)

Good work, Mauro. Makes me want to load up my II and get busy. I haven't even tried my new/old Summar yet with black & white.

Mauro, what kind of collar is on your Leica II shutter button? I have trouble getting a smooth release on my II and I've been told that the older models before the IIIc just aren't as smooth. Does this collar help?
