I know I do... picked up my E-6 6X9 transparencies today. NO Charge. Excellent processing, No problems at all.
I said that when I got my next roll back, I would post how I fill out the envelopes and deposit them in the Fuji drop box for "Send Out Only" processing.
So, here are images of 4 envelopes I have used... two for C41 and two for E6. The white label on the front shows what I was charged for the package. On the C41, I received negatives and prints. Cost was $1.80 each time. (this was all 120 roll film). Negatives were good and the prints looked good as well.
The transparencies are just that and look good under a loupe. I have not scanned any of these yet.
I see all sorts of comments about Walmart... mostly about poor service.
I avoid that by doing two things.
I would never consider Walmart for their in house processing and I never ask the store employees ANY questions. They don't know anything about this SEND OUT ONLY process, as a rule.
The only thing I ask the store employees is, "is my processing back yet". The answer is simple... either yes or no.
It takes on average 10 to 11 days to get the film back. It goes to Fuji. I believe Fuji processes the C41 and sends the E6 out. Either way, the time is about the same on return.
Here are the pics of the envelopes and a pick of how the E6 is sleeved and tubed for return.
SPECIAL NOTE... on the "no charge" today...
Envelope came back with a no charge on it. Like I said, I don't talk with the store employees, and I certainly don't raise questions. The lady at the counter said there's no charge since that's what the envelope was marked by the lab. She muttered something about there must have been something wrong with the roll. There wasn't, the processing was good. Previous E6 has been $4.88.
