Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Sunday night here so what did I do this weekend.
A Sat Rf session was called off ... so I shot some pics around the stable yard with M2 and 40sc.
Today I attended a baptism so I took a Mju with Superia Xtra .
Shots of the couple and baby plus church interior.
Oh yes and happy birthday for your girl from me too ,Raid.
I bet that new grandson will have a few pics taken of him too ,Paul.

Halloween can be a great occasion for interesting looking images.
I may take with me the LUMIX tonight.

Following up on #781

I failed. Took a few cameras to the rally, ended up shooting a single one for almost all of it. I don't think I had any great shots but there were some potentially decent ones. In any case, I was thrilled to be shooting again. Rewound the film, realized the shutter has been open the entire time. The curtain was hanging open at slow speeds, which I was shooting at just before rewinding while at f/2.8. Tossed the roll in the garbage and went home.

Killing the rest of the weekend by staying at home, trying to stop a cold I picked up from getting worse. No Halloween photos for me. At this point, I'm writing off the weekend (and a wonderful sunny Sunday) so I can be healthy by the time I head back to work tomorrow.

Lousy weekend. I was looking forward to this one the last few weekends as good 'events' to shoot seem so clustered in the summer here in Seattle. I'm still determined to keep shooting this fall/winter, unlike last year.

Last four shots of the evening, one in color with the FE2, and two in BW with the FED-2/I-26, of an autumn light/river reflection thing ...

Thanks raid, and I'm sure you're right. I'm just trying to be careful, as around this time last I turned into something of a hermit for months. I don't want to fall into that pattern again. :)

Was up north at the in-laws cabin near Hayward, WI. Beautiful this time of year. I burned 10 sheets of 4x5 and a roll & 1/2 of 135 in the IIIf. With luck I'll have a keeper or two.

Thats kind of the way my summer has been! not at all good. We should think up some kind of whatever to keep our focus. Today I carried my AE-1 program w 50/1.4ssc loaded with K64 & Bessa R 35/2.5 & J-3 50/1.5 with TX400 around Old Salem. Sun & temps. were just right, wonderful autumn day.

Ran another roll of Arista Premium 400; negs look beautiful; I've got scanner fever real bad; about to drop the hammer ...

I've spent the afternoon scanning ACROS and grading papers, now I'm scanning 2TMY and listening to game 4 the World Series. Go Giants! :D

Skyline Drive, Shenandoah

Skyline Drive, Shenandoah

Sunny, breezy nippy day on Skyline Drive, starting at Front Royal. Leica M4's w/Velvia 50, finishing w/APX 100 at sunset. Summicrons 50 & 90, plus a 90/4 Elmar- C.

Didn't have the time, film, or moxie to snap on any of the tourist hordes who favor standing with their back to Vista X or Family Member Y and holding the wallet-sized digi-whatzit at arms length and smiling at it.

I will send the Velvia to The Man with my last four rolls of Kodachrome next week.

Well, I shot six rolls at Brooklyn's famous Hallowe'en Parade last night, in which Galfriend participated. Broke out nearly the entire Hexar kit (which a paramedic covering the parade recognized!), plus my Contax Tvs. Pics to come, and I will say it was a wild night, for children of ALL ages.
