My younger Son plays electric bass is a rockn'roll band. They are performing downtown in a bar in our sports-arena district. Should be a hoot.
I will be using my Leica M's (probably M5 and M4-2, maybe M2) for B&W film, and my new Sony Nex-3 for digital, alternating my Canon 35mm F1.5, 50mm F1.2 and 85mm F1.5 between the bodies.

I've got a new Super Ikonta B that I want to test out with some Portra 160 and TMax 400 at Turkey Run state park here in Indiana. I need a strap for the cam though, any suggestions?

I just shot 2 nights in a row , a total of about 800 shots at my kids high school musical. Camera was a clunky digital SLR with a magical 70-200 2.8 lens. I think I sprained both wrists holding this massive kit, and injured my thumb from working the zoom ring.
I look forward to some relaxing and much lighter weight shooting with film.

finished a roll of bw400cn yesterday in my R2m. loaded the last roll of bw400cn in the FE2 and did some springish things, then last night made some night shots of a barge tow passing below. earleir last week i made some towboat night shots in the rain with the R2m; amazing lighting effects with those powerful searchlights the towboats run. i hope i caught some drama in one camera or the other ...

Took a 2 hour walk around the city. I put a test roll through a Leica IIIa + SCNOO I bought of BuzzardKid.
Next weekend I'm visiting a Zoo with friends and on Sunday there's a WW2 Re-enactment photoshoot at Fort Vechten. Should be fun.

The weather is awesome here in Pensacola, Florida. I will indulge in some photography tomorrow. I may use the Rolleiflex TLR or Fujica G690BL.
What are your plans? I hope that you will be having a great weekend.

I'll take my Rolleicord for a walk so I can test my "new" super smashed (but working) Asahi Pentax spotmeter V that I've got as a present. The M2 and Leica III will be in the bag too. Hope to find what to shoot or will head up to the bridge by the train station and wait to get the highlights

T90's
T90's
Just got both of my Canon T90's back from service and cleaning of the shutter magnets (the problem creating the ERR error)
One has had the ERR error for some time. The newest one just started throwing the ERR error when cold, or on low batteries. There's an ex Canon service guy in California who services this problem and the camera. The T90 had the predecessor to the EOS shutter system, and the shutter magnets were beefed up on the EOS system as a result of learning the lesson on the T90.
Steve says that Canon T90's should not be left stored for long periods of time, but rather used regularly.
I guess now I have to start rotating the T90's with some regularity.
Otherwise, my Fujica AE100 lens was mailed back to me today, from Frank at Camera Wiz. I located the lens as a parts lens (the meter was not working). Frank serviced and revived the meter. If I had it back, I would put it on my GL690 and shoot a couple of rolls with the metered 100, and my 65mm lens'. Love those big negs. (6X9cm)
No time for digital any more.... thankfully.

This is a good reminder for me to take out the 2 T90's. One of them was serviced by Steve for the EEE problem.

We have gorgeous weather in Pensacola. A slight breeze, with blue sky and puffy clouds. It was cool in the morning, but it warmed up to 75F.
I will take photos this weekend with my EP-2. I have to learn how to use this camera with some of my lenses. I have with me in the small camera bag: 17/2.8-35/1.4-85 /1.4 lenses.
What will you be doing?

Mooch around Brighton for most of the day with my OM2n and Autocord, likely do a lot of black and white until the evening when with some good light I want to take some nice golden candid shots down along the arches along the beach with some Portra.

I used the Olympus EP-2 with the 17mm pancake lens, plus several "legacy" lenses. I like the old Zeiss lenses the most, so far.
