Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Spent the weekend at the Barcelona beaches. Apparently you can be nude on all beaches as long as you don't offend anyone.

I didn't take advantage but there were definetly those who did.

I do not believe you; we need evidence! :D

If the images are decent enough, then you my friend will get to see some spanish bottoms.

Due to travelling I won't get to see them before July however.

It can be quite the challenge shooting these types of pictures I noticed.

Finished up a roll of film in my Retina II, during a nice Easter morning walk through the local Sand Dune reserve.

Got to check the camera as the film wasn't rewinding when I was turning the knob. :(

No big plans for tomorrow...might load up one of my Olympus Trips and go into town.

Yesterday (sat) I was helping out at our local point to point (horse race) manning the horse ambulance but I managed a few shots with the GRD and M2.
Unfortunately I hadn`t noticed that the GRD ISO was set @ 1600 :( so only three usable pics.
I`m hoping for more from the M2 and CV40SC /90 Elmarit .

I have about half a roll in both the F4 & F5 from a convention I was shooting last weekend...maybe I'll use what's left to shoot in our neighborhood...
No plans this weekend although I did have a camera with me...Thursday I was in Los Angeles and walked around with my Yashica Mat 124...shot a whole roll of Acros 100...

Day was spent hiking around the Golden Gate National Recreation Area for Easter, brought along the X100 and the M5. Wished I brought the Xpan instead of the M5. Oh well

Trying out new filters

Trying out new filters

I just started using the Cokin drop-ins for RF, SLR film, and digital work. I tried out a Singh Ray warming polarizer, that gave great results on my digital set up, and I will soon know how it did when I lined up the filter off my Tripod mounted Xpan and dropped it into the lens mounted holder. It took some practice in doing this smoothly, but I think I've it got down fairly well now. I also tried a strong ND filter to get the interesting water effects with prolonged exposures that this allows, and was disappointed by the color changes that resulted in the surrounding trees. I may have not had the digital camera settings correct for this, but the overall exposure was about right. More practice next weekend!!

the bride and i made as lightning trip to pensacola and back for granddaughter's third birthday (sorry i did not have time to call you, Raid). 339 x100 frames have been whittled to 95. still some editing to do. perhaps a gallery post or two tonight.

I forgive you Paul, but don't push your luck too far!

I hope that two had a great stay with the family.

It is a gorgeous looking Friday here in Pensacola.
I will get out my newly acquired Olympus EP-2 to make sure that all is OK for it to be used in an upcoming trip to Cairo.

What will you be up to this weekend?

Take care.

I'm envious. We expect two days of rain. Only. But still: all cameras loaded with b/w. I will get some results.

It is again close to weekend, and I feel great that I can relax a little with my family and take some photos. Weather can be important, but if you can get to a restaurant, and use a fast lens, photos are still within reach.

What will you be up to?

It is my cousins bachelor party this weekend. We plan on houseboating on a lake in northern California. Should make for some interesting photos!Bringing my m2 and 35 1.4.

If all goes well, I'll be mixing chemicals and shooting my first 4x5 wet plate collodion ambrotypes. Can't wait to see the first one emerge on glass. Gonna be my next addiction for sure...

There is a labour rally in Toronto tomorrow afternoon. Going to take pictures there. Thinking I'll just take 2 Nikon 801's with 50 and 28mm lenses. No fuss, no muss, with those cameras. It's more about the results than the process with these.

I have three rolls of drugstore C-41 from various P&S to drop off, and one roll of ancient Tri-X to finish in a Reflex Brownie. I'll probably just stand develop that in Rodinal if time allows. I know I won't have time to scan all this.

Shooting plans call for SLR this time. My Konica TC-X sports a brand new (and sinfully tight) black leather outfit, NOS at a show last weekend, for $1. As was the Toshiba CdS meter that will come along, since the internal one is dead.

It is weekend again!

I met up with Dave Lackey this morning, and we took some photos together with Lina.

What are you up to?
