I need to get myself a film scanner again. My old scanner is obsolete and slow. I mentioned this to my wife, to prepare her for a possible purchase.
I took some photos of the beach, just after the sun set and the sky was becoming darker. I used the 35mm Lux at 1.4 with the KM25 roll.

I've been trying to secure a model via ModelMayhem, but I'm not having much luck for some reason. I really want to photograph a human being. I'm going crazy! I feel like I can take photos of things and stuff nicely enough. But it's almost as if I'm not really saying anything with the photos, that I'm not really conveying any emotion.
My wife isn't in much of a modeling mood, and I have plenty of cat photos to last a lifetime already. What can I do?

Ride, dive, shoot.
Will be riding my Bonnie up to Mt. Tam with a few friends tomorrow. Planning to take new-to-me 1932 Leica II and trusty 1953 IIIf RD to cover 28mm and 50mm.

Film is cheap therapy!
Doing the clique thing this time of the year here on the East Coast - fall leaves. Olympus Trip 35 and Ektar. Last weekend's b&w shots of the bridges in Lambertville, NJ was O.K., definitely could have been better.

Join a local photography club. Often, such clubs arrange model shoots.

It is weekend again, and what a wonderful day it is here in sunny Pensacola, with deep blue skies and low humidity and lots of enthusiasm on my side to take some photos!
I started out this morning, taking photos of my daughters, as they were dressed pretty for a photo shoot at their school. I used a LUMIX digital first, but thyen switched to a Contax G1 after having the memorycard full in the LUMIX.

The Far Hills Race Meeting Association Steeplechase event. Fast horses jumping over things out in the country. And, the weather looks to be cooperating. We're with friends who have a picnic spot right on the home stretch. And, the proceeds go to a local hospital. Fun making $1.00 bets while making pictures.

aside from trying to catch up on some processing and a lot of post work, i'll go shoot the Toronto Zombie walk, probably using the fed w jupiter 12, the lomo fisheye both probably loaded with Legacy Pro 400 (they are now) and sling my k10d with smc-m28 3.5 over my shoulder for some colour and instant gratification
Gonna head to Brooklyn on Sunday... probably bring a couple of Leicas.

Weather is quite dark and rainy where I live. I have a roll of Delta 3200 which I could shoot. First I need a plan what to shoot...

I will not make any appgologies here for our beaches and weather, Michael. It is a blessing .... that is balanced with getting occasionally a hurricane.
Yes, I will be shortly pick up my daughters to take a drive to the beaches so that they build sand castles while I take photos. I am the perfect babysitter.
