Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

This weekend I have my nose in a book... and it's a lovely Spring weekend too... Adobe's Classroom in a Book for Lightroom 3, trying to get up to speed on this program. A free license for it comes with Leica M9 and S2; it just figures, after I got comfy with (and upgraded) the CaptureOne software that came with the M8.

I'm annoyed at Lightroom's insistence in handling file management, which is rightly in the purview of the Mac Finder. Renaming or moving files, and creating new folders must be done within Lightroom so it can keep track of where things are in relationship to the catalog. Grumble grumble... :(

I took family photos of friends and their kids with the EP-2 and the 17mm lens. I think that several photos came out very very nicely.

Well so far I`ve managed to run through a roll of XP2 and three rolls of Superia Xtra.
Most of which was taken at the local race meeting even though I was busy on duty with the horse ambulance.
I picked up 20 rolls of Superia for free at my local camera club and a local Rf user gave me a 10 pack on race day.
Happy times.

Oh , cameras were M3 and M2 with CV40SC ,90 Elmarit and a Canon 135 Serenar.

It is weekend again.
I am tempted to use the Rolleiflex TLR tomorrow.

What are your plans for the weekend?

I found a 4x5 film holder with two exposed sheets inside, left over from my last developing session (the tank takes six sheets, and leftovers have to wait!). So I loaded two more holders and went out this morning to make four more exposures with the Ebony. All six now hanging up to dry.

The visit to Cairo made me forget about our long time thread on weekend photography activity.

My weekend (Friday and Saturday here) was filled with photography. I used mainly the tiny Minox GT for B&W, and the digital Lumix DMC-FZ5 for color and for close-up photography due to it 12X optical zoom. I walked for many hours in the old parts of Cairo and also among the "older" pyramids (not the ones in Giza).

What are doing this weekend?

It's been rainy, windy and cold - a perfect weekend to catch up on by undeveloped film backlog - I have developed 12 rolls so far.

I also looked at my film stock and I am very low - posting an order to Freestyle today, going to try some new (for me) films

this afternoon - scanning!

I was out with two others photographing a local brass band -- the photos they wanted are pretty boring, but I got some interesting images 'in between'.

Now I've got to process a hundred or so DNG files...

Sorry to say I haven't taken any shots in about two weeks or more...it might have been Easter Sunday when I did anything...been in a funky mood lately and haven't really picked up a camera...I've had a camera with me but nothing...
Maybe this week will be better...

Friday and I just got home to a package from Freestyle...

about 40 rolls of film - just in time for the weekend
(Rollei Retro 80s, Fuji Acros and my standbys Tri-X and TMY)

I love mail order.

I was yesterday at the camel market outside Cairo. I used mainly the digital camera for close-ups of people and of camels, with some use of the Minox GT with XP2.

This was a special weekend photography activity!

After lots of good suggestions from RFF members, I revisited a location and shot a roll of film last week. I developed it a few minutes ago - I'm anxious to see the results.
