We're all light!
Nothing to speak of for the last two weeks too much scanning work and "work" work), although I did some interesting cloud photography around Lincoln Center with the Nikon Coolpix while on my way to a client a few days ago (and, amid all the tourista dSLRs clacking away, spotted one woman of a certain age toting a Contax G. I gave her a smile and thumbs-up, which she seemed to appreciate. Pretty sure she was a native NYer.

Finally, these incredible hot days here in Switzerland will finish by tomorrow. We had several days over 35 °C (still 29 °C at 2000 m altitude!) which made it impossible going out for hours to hike and/or take pictures.
For this weekend it will cool down to 22 °C and so I planned starting a hike at Furka station (~2400 m altitude) taking the trial down along the Reuss river. We will have to walk in several stages for the next months, looking for good weather weekends to reach the estuary of the Reuss into the Aar, some 160 km later.
Sunday I will start with Color-Skopar 28/3.5 on Hexar RF (Ektar 100), Vectis 80-240/4.5 and other lenses for S-1 (Agfa APSpro 200) as well as digi compacts like IXUS60 and Lumix FX-30. I hope my wife will carry my part of water and picknick too

Should be a good one Mike. It's the 21st gay pride and there's supposedly a hundred floats. We're gonna have lots to shoot. They've also got some top pop acts lined up.

Actually I was planning a lot this weekend but guess what?
Irene decided to come home.
Sometimes you just want to be alone, right?
For those who wonder who the h.. is this Irene, well it is not my girlfriend just a hurricane or something like that.
So with Irene I will be shooting in a friend studio and developing+scanning at home if we still have electricity...
Enjoy your weekend.

Will be taking my '82 Porsche 911 to an informal car show. Will shoot other cars while I'm there. Which camera? Not sure. It will be film, though. Probably my Hassy, since I'm so in love with it lately. Maybe my Contax RX, since I have a new 35-70mm for it. Sorry they're both SLRs
