Well weekend over this side of the pond.
I took a quick trip to Manchester yesterday (sat) mainly to get a hood for a new Pentax 50/1.2.
Gave it a spin on an ME loaded with Rollie Retro 100.

Hi Raid!
I'm a Dad as well.
Two grand children so far!
Thanks for your kind words.
Have a nice week.
Hi Bill,
This thread is a longstanding thread in which some of use share what we do on weekends photographically (or otherwise). Good to see you here.

Feed Your Head
Met my sun for the day yesterday and went through a film just shooting the odd things that interested me. I was going to go out today but the sky opened and it was very dark and gloomy outside I read and scanned and deved a few films.

Lord of the Dings
Finished the roll of color 200 that I started last weekend, in the apple orchard next door to us. After a long chat with our dear neighbor who did indeed ask "can you still get film for that?" when I showed him my camera (that's the lowly Konica FP-1). Mind you, he's been around longer than Tri-X...
Now I have two rolls of C-41 waiting for me at CVS, and I just put some test shots on half a roll of more-than-expired Tasma film through Caffenol-C. Scanning all of this tomorrow.

I used the Contax G yesterday. The 90mm lens gave me some problems for awhile by not allowing AF, but then it worked again.

Just trying to get over a respiratory illness in order to feel like working on a video for my last documentary. Then, a trip on-location for sound bites and an interview or two, but that will have to wait until next week sometime.

My wife and I went birding yesterday. The Blue Herons kept their distance, unfortunately, but we had a good time nonetheless. I used my new Minolta 400mm APO f5.6 Rokkor-X and 2X APO Rokkor Converter. Took a Minolta SRT101 loaded with Fuji Presto 400, and a heavy Manfrotto Tripod and Big Manfrotto Ball Head. Did get some very cool 800mm closeups of geese that were resting at a distance on some submerged logs. I am going to like this combo for birding. A good test session wringing out equipment.
Today I am mixing fresh B&W darkroom chemicals. Local supplies for these items are drying up, based on what I found today at the remaining "Superstore" and local shop. Did find what I needed there, but it looks like old stock to me. Luckily Midwest Photo is not far away and sells darkroom supplies, and there is always mail order. Have about twenty exposed B&W rolls to process in the next week or so.

It is pouring rain right now, and the sound of thunder is alarmingly high and loud.
I hope that the weather is better where you live.
What will you be doing this weekend?
