Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

A train ride part way up Snowdon on Monday. Hopefully walking the remaining distance to the summit, and then back down on foot. Fingers crossed for the weather.

Now, should it be a Leica or Canon day......

It is weekend! I need to go outside our home and I need to take some photos today.
What are you up to?

This evening, I’ll be photographing an Arts benefit at a local pub. They’re paying me in food and beer. I’ll be using a couple of Polaroid cameras, an old Canon FTb with a FD 15mm fisheye lens (for fun), and my Olympus OM-D with a variety of legacy lenses.

It is already Sunday.
I took a photo of Noam Chomsky in his MIT office.

What were you doing this weekend?

Long weekend here in Europe. I will test my newly arrived Nikon L35AF and see if it was worth the 5€ plus 6€ shipping.

I also found out this week that one of my "young graduate hire" colleagues has a Lomo instant and his girlfriend has a zenit. So I gave him a roll of HP5+ and lent him my old beater Rollei 35S, explained how it works and said "let's see what you can do with it". He was in total awe of the build quality and could not believe my assurances that this is a beaten up Singapore version not worth very much, but he couldn't put it down and agreed (easily) to borrow it.

"We are going to Amsterdam this weekend, so this could be fun!", was his response.

Bank holiday tomorrow, and a vide-grenier (literally "empty-attic", a sort of village-wide yard sale/car boot sale). If the weather ain't too bad, lots of pics here. There's another a few miles away on Sunday.

Cheers,

R.

I am looking forward to relax with my camera and lens this weekend. Nothing special, it is simply a relaxation.

Taking the Graflex Combat 45 Graphic with me to a WW2 Living History event in Zaandam on Saturday. Using up the last sheets of Fomapan.

And I'll probably take my Epson R-D1 with me to a commemorative ceremony in Ypenburg on Sunday. My grandfather never claimed his Mobilization War Cross (either because he didn't know or didn't care), and I will be receiving it at the ceremony. Together with other descendants of Dutch WW2 veterans.

It is weekend again. In the USA, tomorrow we will have Mother's Day.
I took some photos today of the family.

What are you doing this weekend?

It is Friday, and the anticipated weekend is lurking around the corner!
I may do some thinking about the camera equipment that I want to take with me on our Europe trip soon, so I may "stare" at my lenses for a while ....

What will you be up to?

Nobody posted in this thread for one week.
What are your plans for this weekend?

Keep this thread alive.

Already started mine with a Friday evening trip to Photo London (photography fair) at Somerset House - highly recommended to any London RFFers who were thinking about it. Then will be spending some of the long weekend testing out the new sensor on my M9 which has just come back from Germany with new sensor, new leatherette, and a free rangefinder clean and calibration .
