Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

It is about to rain again here. I may use my M 4/3 system for some snapshots here and there.

What are you up to this weekend?

A cold, gloomy day in northern Michigan. We’re heading over to the “big” city (60 miles away) to shop. I’m taking along my MP loaded with Kodak 5222 B&W film. We’ll see what I find.

This is a sad weekend, with the events in France and in Kenya, in particular.
I used my M8+ Zeiss Sonnar 5cm/1.5 and the M9& Biogon 36/2 combo this morning for a few photos of a fishing boat.

What are you doing this weekend?

Saturday morning farmers' market is over for the season, often a good venue for photos. But now that it gets dark so much earlier, there are some opportunities in lighted storefronts and people on the streets. Just hiked around the central business district this evening for some useful photo opportunities...

It is a sunny and wonderful Friday here in Pensacola Florida today. I will try to capture a glorious sunset scene around some fishing boats even though there are no clouds in sight, and the sunset may look "plain". Who cares! It is Friday!

What are your weekend plans?
Take care.

Nobody posted anything after me last week! Why not?
We have another gorgeous weekend this week. I picked up a camera bag yesterday, and I found in it the M3 with the original Nokton 50/1.5, plus the Nikon F2 with Nikkor 2.1cm O, plus my M6 with the Zeiss G 45/2. I used them all.

What are you up to?

Winter is coming, it will be clear and cold...long time I do not use a Leica, maybe tomorrow the M7 and that Cinestill 50 if I'm in the mood for color...

Hi Raid. A film weekend for you, huh? Since I started commuting to Chicago for a contract assignment, I've been taking shooting walks every day on my lunch hour and/or after work. So I don't shoot much on weekends anymore. Quite a reversal for me, and the reason you don't see me much in this thread. But this weekend I'm focusing on family, with all my kids being here for the holiday.

I've been using my MM, but just got out the neglected X-Pro. Wow, is the optical viewfinder bright by comparison to the MM. A real treat to use the X-Pro indoors.

Hi John,
I decided to use these three cameras. It was interesting to fumble with settings to avoid wrong exposures with film cameras.

For some inexplicable reason I've been drawn to color lately, after many years of BW only.

I spent the weekend adding a color gallery to my web site. I always find mulling a collection for a while is a good way to evaluate a direction.

I figured if I'm going to shoot color, then let the images be about color, so they are generally pretty bold. Hope I didn't overdo it.

Have a look: johnwolf.net

What have you been doing this weekend?
I am focusing on my SWC. I took some photos with it yesterday at home and outside Joe Patti's Seafood (in Pensacola).
