Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

It is a sunny Saturday morning here in Pensacola. I just took out my "active" camera bag, and I removed the 7Artisans 50/1.1 from the M240, and I replaced it with a pre-asph 35mm Summilux. I then replaced the (original) Nokton 50/1.5 on the M8 with a Zeiss G 45/2 . We will have a family outing today, and I am ready!

What are you doing this weekend?
Please share it with us here.

Weekend again :)

We had rai in the night and this morning. Than it stopped and the light with overcast sky is beautiful. I put a roll of 120 XP2s in my Zeiss Super Ikonta and went out to shoot my town for the Dave Lacket thread "One Roll Challenge"

Unfortunately I'll be not able to have it developed before a couple of weeks...

Scanning the latest roll and shortly heading to a big flea market with my daughters and M6/C-Biogon. I'll be on the lookout for cameras there, too.

Tomorrow I hope to hit the Chicago Jazz Fest for some shooting.

Revamping and loading Plaubel Makina 6x9cm film magazines, and my four 70mm Hasselblad A70 film magazines. Preparing for some hopefully sunny weather tomorrow (or Monday). My Wife and are preparing to go out shooting, if weather cooperates.

Just received two hundred foot rolls of fresh Rollei 400s 70mm film from Macodirect in Germany.
Calzone and I are in the process of testing this 70mm stuff, can anticipate using it extensively.

A friend of mine got me a sideline pass for the city school sports, so I was at the high school football game...

(Who are you looking for, what was his name?
You'll probably find him at the football game.
It is a small town, if you know what mean,
It is a small town and we all support the team.)

We just got back from a drive to Destin Beach. I managed to take 7 Polaroid photos in addition to some images taken with the 35mm Lux on the M240, and a few panorama shots with the iphone.

Picking up a leica iiif rd with elmar 5cm 3.5 going to roll it and see what pops up to shoot hopefully it's in good condition

Yesterday, I spent a couple of hours moving all the photos off my camera and then ruthlessly editing those--meaning deleting about 3/4 to start and then posting a few of the rest.

Today, I'd planned on shooting a bit with the NOS Diana I picked up a couple weeks ago. Loaded some Ektar and...it's raining. Still going to take a walk with it though since I don't think I can hurt the camera too much.

Figured I'll see what all the toy camera hoopla is all about. :)

It is Friday here in the USA, and in Florida we have mass evacuations from the southern portion of Florida where millions of people reside to the northern part. Pensacola may be the last place in Florida that will stay clear of Irma.

I will try to get to the beach to take some photos this weekend, unless it will be pouring rain from the hurricane.

What will you be up to?

Gauguin show at the AIC today. Brought along a new to me XA2. Also finished the first roll, so a little processing and scanning and seeing what's what.

Visiting Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL for new project on Saturday.

Edit: I had heard great things about Sloss Furnaces. It was a six hour round trip, and I'd rate the experience a B-. I took three rolls of films, but am not super excited about the results. I was hoping for a series. Maybe some darkroom magic will reveal things from the negatives that aren't immediately apparent from the contact sheets. Sometimes that happens. Hope springs eternal.

The plan is editing (selection, selection and selection again :)) than post process and eventually print the final selection. Specifically from the last few days trip in the Alps. I shoot with the M10 and I would like to print B&W both because I like it and also to see what the files can give with my post processing.

robert
PS: This will take more or less all the sunday afternoon, there will be rain anyway here

I am looking forward to seeing your B&W images, Robert.

I was this morning on Pensacola Beach for a drive and for some photography with the M240 (before Leica asks for it back!) with Hexanon 50/2.4 and the M8 with Zeiss G 45/2. I saw a big car show for Corvettes, but I decided to ignore it and to drive home for my morning coffee.
The beach was awesome. We have a cold front (which saved us from oncoming hurricane Irma) which gives low humidity and very blue skies.
