Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Tomorrow will be Friday, so it is nearly the weekend!
I will use my SWC to shoot some frames with Ektar 100 film.

What will you be up to?

It's 15 degrees Fahrenheit here in the midwest with a "wind chill" of 1 above, and it's supposed to be dropping from there, so I'm going to stay inside and work on some writing. I have an eye toward doing a book of photos with accompanying text; the bitter cold is a good motivator for a day of early draft considerations.

Big-time winter in northern lower Michigan, with tons of snow and cold, so I stay inside and ready some prints for an upcoming photo contest I'm entering. Plus, blow snow and bring in firewood.

Jim B.

Staying warm indoors here, too, and will process and scan a roll of Tri-X that's finally finished. My intended one year film adventure has definitely lowered my output.

It is Friday in the USA, and the weekend is just around the corner.
I will try to use the M240 before Leica asks for it back since it was given to me as a loaner as long as they have my M9.

What are you planning to do?

On Sunday I'm driving up to the Bay Area in California...gonna take a few cameras with me and hopefully see something along the way...
I shot these today...they're by our front door and I been seeing them all week long...I should actually pull them but I like the colors...

It is still too cold for me to feel like going out to take photos. It is more suited for drinking hot coffee at home ...

My Weekend activity starts Friday morning and will end on Sunday afternoon...I'm shooting a local convention...gonna be there at 8:00am to 11:00pm Friday and Saturday but only till noon on Sunday...
I'm getting my gear ready today...charging batteries, cleaning cameras & lenses, making sure I have all my chargers and checking camera settings...

Thank you Sam for keeping this thread alive.
I will try to take photos this weekend with the M240 that is on loan to me before I return it.

If the weather holds up, I'll try getting some shots of Edmonton's crazy skate jump track - yes, it's a iced track that looks like a ski jump, except that it has several down and up hill sections, as well as a curved section - and it's for competitors in ice skates!!

I'll use my Fuji X-t2, with zoom lenses.

Then, on Monday, I'm scheduled for eye surgery - though I was told I can expect to recover in a couple of days.

I was asked yesterday if I could fill in as Second Shooter for a Wedding...
My good friend does Weddings and his regular partner had to cancel last minute...
So, today I'll be at a Wedding...

Let us know how things went for you, Sam.
I will take the family to Destin Beach for a relaxing family trip. I will have with me the M8 and M9. Should be good weather.
