Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Nothing special in program tomorrow, if weather will be overcast I'll take a few shots of a couple of empty areas with my wife's D-109 for an "experiment" I'm planning for which I want to combine drawing and photography...maybe it will work, maybe not :)

A model who I photographed several years back contacted me out of the blue earlier this week asking me to take some pics of “her being a mother.” She has a two year old daughter and a one month old son. So, tomorrow I take a few of my cameras and head over to her house for a photo session.

A real cold snap here in the Midwest, so I'm indoors.

In my ongoing search for a Lightroom replacement (don't like the subscription model), I'm exploring the Alien Skin X3 trial this weekend. So far I like it, especially that the border and BW conversion features are built-in. There's also no catalog; it reads your folders directly, which I like. Not sure I'm up for the learning curve, but investigating anyway.

Took the X100S along for our local "March for our lives" - which was impressive. Not sure I got anything worth keeping, but we'll see after I live with the images for a bit.

Did see someone covering the protest with a Mamiya Press. That was unusual enough to note.

Let us know how things went for you, Sam.

The Wedding shoot went well...We arrived early enough to look the place over and come up with a game plan.
It was a small wedding and out doors...the lighting was decent, the young couple were very nice, the Bride was fantastic...
It was a long day but worth the time went spent there...
Looking forward to helping out again...more so as the Third shooter doing the Filler stuff...
Sorry but I have nothing to show you...I handed over the cards when we were done...

It is Saturday in the USA. I used the M240 a few times today with the Hologon.
What have you been doing this weekend?

Happy Easter!

It sounds like you had a good time there! Good for you, Sam.

Weekend approaching, tomorrow I'll jump on a train with my wife and a good friend (she's a passionate photographer) and will go to Reggio Emilia for an European Festival of Photography. Among the other events there will be a speech by Joel Meyerowitz and of course an exhibition of his photos. Many other exhibitions, some in very interesting locations. It will be a stimulating week end ...

I'll bring my M7 which didn't get much use since her sister "10" arrived! And a couple of B&W films...

It looks like a wonderful plan for enjoying a culturally rich weekend, Robert!
I may use the upcoming weekend to use (again) my freshly returned M9.

We have a wonderful weekend with amazing weather here in Pensacola. I have been actively shooting the Hologon 16/9 on my M9 (with a new sensor).

What are you up to?
I hope that your weekend is going well.

Took a road trip to some small towns in my state yesterday, found a few "keepers". I spent today doing a bit of editing. It's nice to have some decent weather and warmer temperatures for a day or so!

I drive over a pair of large bridges to visit our grand-babies, so Saturday I decided to revisit the land around and under the bridges, small shipyards and boatyards, waterways. Shot the IId and think I have a few interesting pictures.

Shot a few frames with an Olympus Pen FT over the weekend.

We'll have Remembrance day and Liberation day next weekend. Will be walking around with a 1940s Rangefinder....probably a Leica IIIc

Borrowed a Monochrom and the new 28mm Summaron for a few hours on Saturday, a couple of photos are in my gallery.

Fun camera to play with. I told the Leica rep I want a Monochrome version of the M-D (no screen) with the dimensions of the M10. He chuckled. I don't think I'm going to get my wish.

We are enjoying a wonderful Saturday. Sunshine and clear skies.
I will exercise my Hologon on the M9 again. I want to get better used to this set-up.
I am also doing some research related work from home related to spatial results on Alzheimer's Disease.

What are you up to?

Photo shoot with a new model. I’ll be using my Leica M240 along with my Rolleiflex 6006 and my ancient Canon F-1. I’ll be using Ektar 100 in the film cameras.

And pleasant weather for a change. Most of the snow is gone!
