Good for you all! You guys are active.
Had a nice meetup with RFF members Larry and Gary at the Big Time in Seattle this afternoon, and Colin and his bride showed up too. Very nice gathering. Incredibly hot day for Seattle, at ~100F

It is Friday, and we have a weekend just around the corner.
I really want to do some photography this weekend.
I have to find the motivation and just do it.
What are your plans for the weekend?

Think Different
I'll be attending a family gathering this weekend. Taking along my cell phone and my old Canonflex loaded with Eastman 5222-XX. We'll see what I end up photographing.

I am in Filey on the Yorkshire coast in the UK so hoping to go to Robin Hood’s Bay tomorrow and maybe Ravenscar. Using my new Panasonic GX9 to take seascapes.

Desperate but not serious
It's clear skies here in bay area with some heat and I bet mild haze, so not much planned as far going out shooting.
That having been said, I have plans to deal with a new printer (to me). 2 weeks ago my Cone inked 7880 took a great big p00p on me and transport system broke. Last week, I was in greater Portland area and Epson 9900 came up for sale, so I bought it to replace the 7880. So this weekend, I'll finally unload the printer from the element, bring it inside and see if I didn't damage it. IF I did damge it, then I'll head down to Santa Curz where I found a 7800 and buy that as the replacement.
After that, I'll make a big order to Cone inks and see about converting it to Cone B&W work and reset up QTR to a new printer. Ugh.
so yes plans, but not fun plans.

Shooter of Film...
Our daughter is flying home as I'm typing this...Denver, CO to Ontario, CA...
Saturday morning we'll be heading to the "Barn" for a Riding Lesson on a horse she'll be showing in a few weeks in Vegas...
I'll be shooting while she rides...
I'm also going through a ton of photos so she can put a slide show together for when she gets married next month...

Shooter of Film...
Friday I shot my first roll (Acros 100) of film in my newly acquired Mamiya C220...and developed the roll.
I bought the camera from a dealer in Japan and it showed up in decent condition.
I replaced the lightseals, cleaned up any old grime, tightened a few loose screws and checked focus at the film plane.
I bought the C220 only because a friend gave me a set of Mamiya TLR lenses...80mm 2.8 Blue Dot & 180mm 4.5 Super
I'm really liking the view with the 180mm...

I went alone to the Farmer's Market in the morning, and I had the family with me to a brief drive to the beach, but it was packed too full to find a restaurant for dinner without having to wait for an hour, so I tok some photos of the sunset at the beach and we drove back to Pensacola to have dinner there. I used the M9 with the Canon 17mm lens, and the M10 with a Pentax-M 50/1.4.

In the nearby mountains, the aspens are still holding on to a few golden leaves. A challenge to shoot without making trite cliches, but worth a try, and certainly a beautiful sight. Just to be contrary, I've been shooting them in B&W.
And yes, Ansel had the last word on aspens. Nevertheless....

Just came back from a week's holiday to Poland. Not many opportunities for photos due to family commitments and the pandemic but I did manage to shoot a film.
