Tonight my wife and daughter were out so I cranked...
I recently purchased this rarest of Jonathan's albums on CD.
Great stuff from Jonathan's 1980's rock 'n' roll period!

Simon, I have heard a bit of Sigur Ros. Interesting sound.
Yes, wilbur is a fine baritone and worship leader.
And Leon Russell still looks the same as he did 35 years ago.

Don't know. Wiki indicates that he's still active. I think that LABD is one of the greatest jazz albums of all time, not least because it was so totally out of place when it was released. A real anomaly. There are a bunch of good Arthur Blythe clips on Youtube.

Well, I went and saw Peter Hook and the Light play through Unknown Pleasures on Friday night - they were awesome Peter did a pretty good job of the vocals and the band were super tight. As a bonus they played a Warsaw track as well as Transmission and Love Will Tear Us Apart. The support band, Aussie outfit Wreckery were fantastic too. So I've been playing the Joy Division CD of Unknown Pleasures on pretty high rotation all weekend.
wish I'd seen that show
funnily enough just before i read this i put on unknown pleasures
