What are you listening to at the moment?

Alfred Hitchcock's movie..."What Ever Happened to Sweet Baby Jane"....

I hate scary movies but I am too lazy to get up and turn the channel whilst working on my new blog.:p

The "French Hip Hop" playlist on Songza.
New( to me), different, and good.

Drop dead silence throughout the house...after a few moments of sheer terror!

Our two grandsons (ages 6 and 7) are spending the night in our spare bedroom next to my little home office where I am working on the computer. Ten minutes ago, I heard the banshee-like screams of the boys just 20-feet away and looked up to see the light in their bedroom flashing on and off like a strobe light possessed by demons from hell! Holy !@#$#!!!!

Before I could get to the hallway, they were running out of the hallway into the living room screaming at the tops of their lungs, hands up in the air with eyes as wide as saucers! They jumped in Grammy's lap (my bride is "Grammy) and the crying and screaming continued....WTH???!!!

I walked into the bedroom wondering what happened. The lamp died and it was dark but their TV was on. What or who was doing this? They could not possibly have had a terror-filled episode because of a light bulb going out?

I looked at the TV, under the bed, checked the window, and then the lamp...dead. So, I unplugged it for safety sake. But what happened? The crying and shrieking continued in the living room...

Finally, I was able to understand what they were doing.

They had the TV on a scary movie which they are not allowed to watch, ever... and the movie they were watching zoomed in to a TV inside the room just when the TV screen in the movie went black and two glowing eyes were watching the boys lying in the bed. Just then, the light bulb happened to do a strobe imitation and that lit the boys' fires and prompted them across the bed, in midair, carried only by the most awful shrieks and horror-filled facial expressions I have ever seen!

Oh, man, oh, man.........total silence now except for Grammy's muffled snickering while holding her stomach!

Karajan and Nat king Cole (though not together).

I got my copies of Bridge Over Troubled Water and Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme today too; my first time hearing my favorite band on vinyl. Exciting day, to say the least.

Nothing "On" at home...but I did have the sprinklers "On" in the backyard and was listening to them...it's a nice relaxing sound...
